“But they’re pro-LGBT!!”
Okay. But: have you seen everything else they post…?
They can have their space. Fine. But I haven’t seen a lotta users from there acting particularly civil out in other instances.
Seconding Subnautica.
It was one of the few games I’ve played where I felt sad finishing it.
The sequel does not have the same vibe, though, so be aware of that. It’s an okay game, but it definitely misses the vibe the original.
I sure am addicted to being able to function normally every day.
I mean, sure, but…
— gestures vaguely at the rest of the entire site —
I’ve now seen one person complain about it.
I only used 3rd party apps to navigate, so it was never an issue.
Sounds like Reddit’s solution for a barking dog is to run it over with a steamroller.
I’ve never seen this be an issue for anyone.
You’re able to fuck around and get into shenanigans with taunts and stuff. It’s not all just competitive, so I think that giving the option to goof around is great!
Since the game doesnt take itself too seriously, it lends the opportunity to play however you want. It’s neat!
The art-style and character designs has also aged super well, too.
There’s a lotta tech-folk on Lemmy. It’s really nice when people are eager to lend you their knowledge instead of berating you for not knowing!
I help with a Discord server.
People don’t fucking read. 🫠
I’m cool with that.
What’s the end game? Bragging about being an “epic troll”? Laughing at “making socialists mad”?
There’s no real benefit that doesn’t border on pathetic. What an interesting way to live life.
If I have to pry answers out of someone, I’d rather cut my losses and move on.
Does this guy think he’s cool or mysterious?
Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid Lotion.
Skin feels dry even after moisturizing? Flaking skin? Makeup won’t go on smooth? USE THIS!!!
Idk all the details, but here’s the absolute basics of what I remember (if anyone has better info, please correct me!):
The moisture barrier on your skin is messed up, it can make it difficult for it to actually absorb & maintain any moisturizer that you put into it. Hada Labo lotion fixes that!!
Use it correctly!! Put a dime-sized amount into your palm, warm it up for 10 to 15 seconds by rubbing it between your hands, then pat it into your face until it becomes “tacky”– you should feel your skin kind of stick slightly to your hands as you pat.
Then use a moisturizing face mask or regular moisturizer, and you’re good! Usually I use it at night so my skin is fresh the next day.
Hopefully it’s a working game!
I do this for mental illness.
My parents do not like when I joke about it at family get-togethers.
But hey! That’s their fault!
I am not convinced that the higher-ups want Reddit to continue. Almost convinced that this is self-sabotage, to be perfectly honest.
I’m self-employed, so probably dying.
At my old job, my hours were cut to zero after I finally made a single comment pointing out the hypocrisy of my boss’s politics. After a year of dealing with him spouting Q-conspiracy every single day he was there, I kind of had enough.
My early-morning ADHD brain read that as:
By upvoting this post, you confirm that you are not Amish
And I was like “Well duh!” before my reading comprehension caught up with me.
You’re less likely to be singled out by the media
Helps if you own that media, too.
Who knew that online spaces based in capitalism would be a bad idea??
I don’t mind the general hexbear ideology in itself. Sure. You do you.
But, damn, I see more than a few of its members just being obnoxious.
