I’m very curious how instances can have some unique features and personality.
I think something like r/place would start as something not federated, only for local users. What would it mean to federated it? If there was demand then federation would be added and instances could opt-in to the app.
I hope instances come up with these little widgets to make their place more unique. Right now every lemmy instance feels like all the others.

It’s great! I’m a fan too. My only complaint is the triggers are not analog, but I’ve only had an issue with it on dreamcast games, so I’ll play other stuff for now 😀
I was gonna say the RP3+ sounds like what you want, since you’ve the got the steam deck for when you need more power.

I’ve been slowly working on Disgaea on ppsspp and need to knuckle down and finish the story. I love the battles, it’s the only SRPG I’ve enjoyed.
Does that phone have usb-c? If so, I’m a big fan of the Gamesir X2, I’ve got the 2021 edition and it’s very comfortable and easy to use.
I have also used a Ps4 controller with a clip and is good for short sessions. You’ll feel the weight after a while, it’s not as balanced as a telescoping one like the Gamesir. Great budget option if you already have a Ps4 controller. Check https://a.co/d/cEANPFm
