1 year agoYour concern is warranted with a cheap backpack with the laptop amongst the actual text books. Why not spend just a little more on one with a dedicated pocket for a laptop and match that with a hard case?
Batteries are easy to replace in the M1 MacBook Pro.
That said, I’ve had my M1 Max MacBook Pro since launch of November 2021. I’m currently at 85% of health. I’m hoping it drops under 80% before Nov 2024 (when AppleCare+ expires), free battery replacement at that point.
However, despite heavy use and frequent travel, I suspect it’ll not reach below 80% before my AppleCare+ expires. Hopefully I can renew it to a monthly subscription at that point.
