Can’t answer for anybody else, but from what admittedly limited information I’m aware of there are many reasons I’d not want to move to India - Modi, pollution so bad in places you can hardly see through it at times, rampant huliganism, sexism, mobs severely beating/killing people (most not even nearly for “justifiable” causes), high unemployment, castes, people still openly using public streets for restrooms, etc. Doesn’t seem like it’s any better than the Ununited States of America.

I don’t pay him enough attention to know, but I did say that I didn’t have much against him. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a far worse person than I care to know, all things considered. Yeah, used to enjoy the show, but can’t stand it since Harvey took hold. Nothing (much) against the guy, but the schtick quickly grew extremely old - you’ve seen one ep, you’ve seen 'em all. But I guess I’m too old to be the target demographic anymore.

This country is so fucked that even if the healing starts immediately after the next four years, it will NEVER recover anywhere near fully within what remains of my lifetime, and much of my offspring’s lifetime will still be hell on earth needlessly. Yet I STILL can’t pick which phone I can have connected to my Chromebook. I’ve got three that I switch among for various purposes, but only one shows up on the Chromebook for connection purposes - and of course it’s not the one I use most. I effing HATE how virtually everything Google does that doesn’t almost directly involve profits has become half-assed anymore.

Bullshit. EVERY group gets “hated on.” It’s just that the Venn diagram of powerful rich assholes and men (especially white) has a massive overlap, and they use and abuse the power they have without hesitation nor consideration for anyone but themselves.
