Our son is almost two years old and my wife and I lay in bed with him during the game start and our daughter who’s a month already asleep next to us. I thought as the game began to teach my son how to root for the bears.
We started chanting let’s go bear and slamming our fists in the air, and then after a few moments and awww exasperated sighs bringing our fist down and our shoulders shrugged in defeat, and then beginning this pattern all over again.
Tbh I’m not a perfect parent but I’m trying to prepare his little tiny heart for this lifestyle of loss shame and despair alongside bouts and fits of excitement
