Somewhat related. Every time I ask it to turn on close captions, it says it doesn’t recognize the language. What am I doing wrong?

So apparently I have a 4K TV (I didn’t really pay attention, I bought it from my son who moved across the country). I’ll have to figure out if there’s a way to dumb it down to 1080.
But if I did upgrade to a 4K ATV, it would improve? Or would I have to upgrade my Netflix plan?
Crap. I just bought one of these 2 months ago to give it a try. I paid $79. I was disappointed by the PQ on Netflix and DTV Stream playback. I’m not convinced a 4k would be any better.
Trying to dump mine for $50. ☹️
I updated the app over the weekend, and it seems to be resolved now. Prior to that, it appeared to be the latest version in the App Store. I also updated to the beta version of TVos. Not sure which fixed the issue.
