Ouch, that must smart!

Not really gimmicky but stop playing a time management second half when ahead. It drives me nuts when a team goes full throttle the first half on offense and gets ahead. Then they go into time management mode the second half and lose the game. The titans are bad about this.

To add to this you can still switch up the offense in the second half while still pushing the gas. A lot of teams when ahead stick to the same game plan the second half only for the opposing team to make changes at half to counter.
