I couldn’t agree more! I just finished switching over to Voyager from wefwef.
I’m subscribed to both and I’ve barely seen any posts from either. I’m hoping to start getting some diverse content from both of them.
Keep up the good work!
I came over from Reddit right after Apollo shut down on June 30, and TBH, I wasn’t sure I’d be able to stay after that first week. I was seeing the same posts each day no matter how I sorted, and barely any of the posts had any interaction. I’ve seen a huge jump in quality posts and conversation in the last 2-3 days for some reason, and I’ve been popping over to Reddit less just to have something to browse. I’m hopeful that it keeps getting better from here.
So NOW they’re worried about “family values”
Are there less bots here for any specific reason? Or will bots start to run rampant here as soon as the Fediverse becomes more popular?
This is the FINAL final warning!
Interesting. I thought he was trying to say No way, Hoss.
So did Senate Bill 34 not pass?
Not sure if you can edit, but your description says June 9.
I haven’t had the courage to investigate Threads yet, and you just convinced me it’s really not necessary.
I support this completely; donation may or may not be forthcoming
It sounds like there’s more to you being “selected“ than just filling out a survey. Unless you really need the money I wouldn’t bother.
Seeing this transcribed is somehow even funnier
So what was the first inside joke?
Much prettier than the neighborhood sticks going off outside my bedroom window
It’s working for me; I’m in the US
You can now!
I ran into the same issue with Lemmy.World. Tried switching to Beehaw.org first (before I learned that they had defederated from some of the bigger instances) and had my “application” rejected. Appears I didn’t provide good enough reasons for why I wanted to join their particular instance. To me, it just shouldn’t be that serious. Tried sh.it just.works and well, it works!
Eta: I can’t see this post either, so hopefully I’m at least notified if someone replies.
