You will have to replace the battery regardless. Anything below 90% is NOT good. I would advise an official Apple OEM replacement even though it’s expensive.

I’d love it to be an OGSE all over again however that’s pretty much 99.999% impossible. I think they’ll make it into an iPhone 11 or Mini.

The 13 Mini is way better than the SE3 as it’s still a mainline iPhone. It does everything better with a nicer OLED screen, MagSafe compatibility, better speakers, better camera, better design, etc…
Well if you quit Apple phones then you have no other options as the SE line is the smallest in the market.
The OGSE is perfectly usable in 2023, yes. It’ll likely still be usable until 2025 which is when you can expect a lot of apps to move away from it.
Eh? I survived with a 16gb OGSE in 2022 as my daily driver. Everything is steamed now so nothing is required to be on your device other than apps. I used that OGSE for everything, it was a proper smartphone, lol.
You can access ChatGPT via Safari on the OGSE.
Yep. Zero chance of happening. My main phone is an iPhone 13 so I have already made the conversion to larger phones.
I’d love to see an updated OGSE with modern internals and a capacitive home button. That’s my #1 wish for an Apple product.
The battery is old and is needing replaced. I purchased a brand new unopened OGSE in 2022 and the battery behaved unreliably once it was down to 20% or less. I ended up replacing it at the Apple Store and it works perfectly now.
You can hand it to the closest police station from where it was found if you’re out of ideas. They lodge all found property & the owner may naturally check in with them.
The OGSE is fine as a smartphone nevermind as a dumb phone in 2023. There’s nothing it can’t do and all the apps are still supported on iOS 15.8.
Completely normal. My iPhone 13 was at 100% for 7 months and then on the 8th month, it went down 2%. The Apple battery health indicator is false and does not provide an accurate reading.
