I’m open minded if there is a good reason for it but I don’t see how the current design can be substantially improved upon. It’s both very secure and very easy to switch bands.

I felt quite tired yesterday morning despite getting a good nights sleep, so I checked Athlytic and it gave me a very low recovery score and said that a few of my vitals were outside of their normal range. So I gave myself the day off, spent the day relaxing and went to bed early. I was definitely coming down with a cold or something by the way I was feeling mid afternoon. Feel fine today and my recovery score is medium. I can’t say for sure what would have happened without it, but I suspect I would currently be ill.
Athlytic gives you a report every morning against baseline with your wrist temperature, HRV, RHR, respiration rate & SPO2. The last 2 times I’ve been sick it has given me a days warning. I didn’t listen to it, but that’s my fault. I will in future though, time will tell I guess if taking it easy the day before getting ill has any meaningful impact on how ill I get…
Active Black Caseology Athlex is the perfect strap for me. Looks like leather but it’s actually silicone, so it looks smart while being completely waterproof. Also has a breathable material on the underside so it never gets sweaty 👌
No idea how long mine would last on a full charge but my routine of putting it on the charging stand while I shower seems to be keeping it between 50 and 90% indefinitely, which I’m very happy with. I’m fairly sure that 50% would easily get me a whole day so I never come close to running out of charge, plus it’s good for battery longevity.
I think that would annoy a lot of people, me included.
