I’ll take the L on that, I didn’t know it wasn’t explicitly said. I don’t remember any speculation like that either.
Still I take it from what you’re saying that there were also no female custodian characters over the years, right? It doesn’t help the misconception but it isn’t the same as saying there aren’t any.
Yeah it’s the same when you have a complaint that aligns with the bigots. Like the female custodes debacle. I don’t care what gender the marines are, but I do think GW handled it poorly.
If they had just had… Idk the mechanicus find some relic that allowed women recruits to survive the upgrade to space marine, primaris, and custodes, and had them deliver a sick ‘more bodies for the war’ line, it would’ve been better.
Saying that does feel icky because there are people who are just against women being marines and custodes. I’m not. If GW did it better, I’d have nothing to say and the bigots would still be bigots.
Yeah this is just good news.
I completely agree. The Orville is a fantastic show that really captures that TNG feeling while still being its own thing through humor.
I don’t care about social media, I live in a big city so I rarely travel for a concert, sometimes I get sick sometimes I don’t and ofc it sucks when I do, I agree having to wear earplugs sucks…
The appeal is that I’m a metalhead and I feel like a metal concert is one of the only places where, within some rules, I can go batshit crazy. It’s cathartic. I don’t even have to get in the pit necessarily, it’s enough that I can scream until I have no voice.
I can still get the occasional 30-40 euro concert ticket for a smaller band, but that’s rare.
Whenever my GM says I get to play I know it’s gonna be fire.
I’ll play fucking uno if that’s what he’s running.
You one of my exes, or just a good guesser?
The Macrocosm in my ass
amazing
This is some of the most streissand shit I’ve ever seen
The other commenter fucked up instance vs community. Technically the admins moderate every community on their instance. It’s just that the post/comments didn’t violate instance rules I guess.
Do kids movies have to be stupid and vapid? This looks completely soulless.
All it needs is a dark grey paint job and a bit of caked on dirt and grime.
Work has been so stressful and demanding that I haven’t really had the time or energy to paint minis. I managed to paint 2 ribbons and highlight some armor, and I also started painting a face which I’m very bad at. All in all, maybe 1h of hobbying broken up into 20 min bits here and there.
Changing the character designs wouldn’t require an all new game. If they can come up with a signature gamemode and better characters, they could have some moderate success.
TBH I had a look at Deadlock’s characters as well and frankly they’re not that inspired and interesting either, but people really like that game because of how it plays. Still that’s in early development so the characters could improve. IMO if the Concord devs make the characters hot, people will pay and play. I’m not saying that’s a good or bad thing, just what I think.
What can I say, value is subjective, but at least to me it’s not what I would describe as Big Mac pricing.
This is a $70 game with a ‘season pass’ and the ultimate edition is $130. That’s hardly big mac price.
The company I work for does B2B and clients do the same shit. 45-90 day pay cycle after invoicing. That shit kills smaller businesses.
I completely agree. What’s more, none of my hobbies have a lot of posts. I myself am an occasional poster at best and I’m not interested in being one of at most 4 people posting in those communities. I’m thinking about finding a third party or otherwise foss or just better reddit client and just browsing.
Lastly, it’s fucking impossible to avoid politics on lemmy, american politics especially. Even in communities that I wouldn’t say are explicitly political, people find ways to squirm in some bullshit. I’m tired, boss. Mostly I’m tired of people being ugly to each other.
