1 year agoI have a MBA M2. It always has stand by on 80% to save battery. Mine is plugged in all the time.

It depends what you are using the machine for?
I would not do it. Especially if it has heavy prior use. If you need a good reliable machine for work on the go I think your best option is to get a new machine. You may be buying a headache with the other one.
