Not really, the discomfort felt on wrinkly sheets directly precede them. Even healthy skin can break overnight, during humidity, pressure, friction, etc.

Also, lying on wrinkly sheets is inherently uncomfortable.

No questions, just want to thank you for this post. I’ve never been off the mainland USA, and while things are definitely interesting right now, I have to say, I’ve come to recognize over the last few years how incredibly good life really is, and focusing on what I have and what’s right has been incredibly mood-altering, mind-changing, and in small but distinctively notable ways, life changing, for me. It took a lot of me getting in my own way, to learn to get out of my own way, and I’m still learning; and more importantly, unlearning, not following up bad paradigms of “everything is a catastrophe, woe is me!” that are super - abundant right now. I notice things, obviously, I just choose to redirect my energy and attention to how much I really have, and how incredibly fortunate I’ve been, all things considered.

Getting held back at school or enrolled in a remedial or special ed program isn’t punishment. The lessons haven’t been learned, or objectives not achieved, so intervention is required, as I understand it. Also some schools of thought are that we choose our lessons before we are born, but I’m hazy on which sects or if that’s universal.

Karma isn’t a punishment, but school, teaching us to evolve, and exists in Judaism. That’s why people thought John the Baptist and Jesus were Moses and Elijah.

My memory is rusty, but I think it was dropped from cannon during one of the Nicean Councils, which politicized everything to make the Roman Empire the Holy Roman Empire, Constantine its leader, “ordained by God,” and the Church became the Roman Catholic (universal) Church, as sects disagreed on the teachings of Jesus and what they meant. Some books got dropped, but are available online (even YouTube) as the Ethiopian Bible (in English, even) and the first and second books of Adam and Eve. We don’t yet know if any more existed and are still in existence, today. I’m not sure, but it seems like the books of Adam and Eve were so disintegrated, they were x-rayed to be read and translated. I’m not sure if those books were written in Aramaic or Ge’ez.

Maybe if the “opposition” actually went left and codified policies and safeguarded them that actually supports families and individuals, rather than megawealthy and corporations, the swings could be less frequent and less severe. I see it both ways. If it was an issue then, not saying anything was criminal negligence, endangering the USA citizens. Same as Rs covering for the current executive, same as staffers covering for Congress persons.
