I feel guilty about spending money on self-care sort of things. My group training gym is kind of exxy, but from that, I have started to cook for myself and found a supportive community. I am likely starting piano lessons soon and I also wanna buy a guitar for fun? Then on top of wanting to travel and only having a small window to do so because of study, and everything necessary, it’s like should I just not do the music lessons, even though they will give me a sense of achievement and something else to do other than doomscroll all day?

There’s the saving for a house part as well. I’m very lucky to still live with my parents.

My sister bought a little studio apartment, after being dejected because she missed out at an auction a couple of weeks ago. I’m happy for her :)

I’m grateful that there is so much love in my life. So much more than that one person could’ve given me. Love is everywhere. The food we eat, the beautiful skies, people, sounds. Even though at times I still feel pangs of shitty feelings from the hostility he probably feels towards me, I am able to remind myself that my life is so much better without that person in it.

I was invited to a mutual friend’s birthday party and I’ve met her twice. Could be a good opportunity to socialise but a) there’s going to be a bit of drinking which isn’t my scene rn considering the eight week fitness challenge I’m doing and b) scary. Do I go or do I not go?

I’m grateful for not cancelling my gym class booking today. Although I was tired and couldn’t give it my all, it was better than nothing. Also grateful for my mum being patient with me despite me being irritable.

We sang all kinds of things! Mostly pop, rock and a hint of musical theatre. Friend also added the Star Spangled Banner and made it scream-o.

Booked in for five hours of karaoke last night. I think in the last hour, I sang one song. But it was really nice to spend time with friends who I can be myself around and have fun with :) they accept my weirdness!

(Is that not the point of friendship? Some people I feel like I have to mask around more than others)

Trampoline dude wanted to go on a date. I did not. We are not talking anymore. He only wants to talk to me for romantic purposes it seems.

I’m sad to lose what we had. We had a similar music taste and bounced music off of one another. He also played the game I was obsessed with as a child.

• Saw my friend from Sydney last night. She gave me Jesus soap and put some in our friend’s shower for shits and gigs.

• going to a trampoline park today which hopefully should be fun

• my aunt told me she’s getting a puppy in two weeks and I’m so excited to meet her

• also I found out who the girl was from work yesterday. Turns out she sometimes goes by a different name to what she introduced herself as. I wasn’t going insane :D

Today I’m seeing my friend who I haven’t seen in six months (she lives in Sydney) and she’s going to surprise another one of my friends :)

Also I was greeted by the doggo when I woke up this morning, which is a rare occurrence. I believe he sees me as lower than him on the food chain hahaha

Someone from work messaged me asking how to do something, and I don’t recognise the name? She told me I showed her the process and I don’t recall it at all?
