If you don’t mind telling, how did she find an instructional design job? My wife is looking to make a similar transition. Any tips for trying to make the switch?

I have aphantasia, though I haven’t always. I remember as a kid in middle school taking a test and then being able to “see” the page the answer was on. Not sure when it all went dark, but it was sometime during childhood. I only mention all of this because my experience may be atypical.
I have basically no problems with sleep. In fact, I fall asleep extremely quickly and sleep like a rock. I seem to need less sleep than other people and so typically sleep 4-5 hours per night.
Ah, interesting to know. I have a 15C and always wanted a 48g but haven’t needed a calculator in a long time. I’m glad that HP is still making good calculators. Maybe I should pick one up.
Thanks for the correction and the information!
They stopped making them in the 90s and early 2000s when they quit making calculators. They made the absolute best RPN calculators that have ever been made, but shut down their calculator division. I prefer RPN, but I guess TI has a stranglehold on the market selling calculators without innovation for years and years. Ah well.
I think for some people, there is zero difference between the two. These kind of people are “you are what you do” kind of people. Lazy people have lazy behavior, unproductive people have productive behavior, etc.
It could also be that they take “you are unproductive” to be a sort of shorthand for "Right now, you are being unproductive. How people perceive themselves and others in time can be strange. That can also cause problems with communication.
Anyway, have a great week!
