Sorta wish they scrap Getsy now… and just scout how Fields and Flus manage with a different playcaller.

Since those are the main questionable people going forward that many dont have confidence in. I think Getsy is 150% a bust and not worth wondering if he’ll prove himself the rest of this season. Its reasonable that we dont want Flus anymore, and maybe even Fields. But there are some who still think they can. So why not remove the variable of Getsy and get some data on how these others manage without his deadweight, here and now while we still have this dead season for a couple more months

Man has instantly upgraded our defense and elevated the rest of the Dline with the impact he makes. He ups the pressure on the offense so damn much, and i think the other defensive line guys are benefitting from an actual elite player leading the way

Yea when people aren’t injured we’d all prefer this combo more consistently. Too bad people get injured and the line gets messed up with rearranging people in the meantime…

Trestman started off stronger the first season and we just came short of playoffs… his 2nd season just seemed to get progressively worse and i dont imagine a 3rd season looked promising to change that direction

Flus won 3 games first season… but can we at least give him the benefit of inheriting a bad team at ground zero of rebuild? I dont think a winning season is a default for anyone taking a HC job for the 2022 Bears… Hes only had one off season of Pole’s acquiring good new talent for him. I’d say give him this whole season to prove he can get some more wins and create more foundation for one more continuation, and see a final record before we decide if he’s not it.

To add to this… Trestman did inherit a team that had a solid winning record the previous year with Lovie. And then completely butchered the rest of the defensive strength the team had.

Bagent is regressing with this offense… it seems this OC has the same patterns of turning into a chickensht with the playcalling once things go south. Seeing the same thing that happened when the oline first got really injured. It definitely hampered us but Getsy’s playcalling got so much worse by the week until players came back. But i’m seeing him do the same thing here with Tyson. Scared to do anything, and more chickensht playcalling struggling against Carolina of all teams
