I don’t find blue cheese so strong. Some are, and they can become too strong if they are a bit old, but they can also be very delicate. There are also way stronger and more in your face cheese than blue cheese.

The definition of being rich which I agree the most with is that you have invested your money so that it works for you sufficiently to cover your lifestyle’s expenses. It does not mean that you drive a fast car or have a penthouse but you don’t have to work to live.

For me it would mean being able to do whatever, learn to draw, play an instrument, travel, probably work on some software idea (my job), maybe try to create a company, but do whatever and be free to do so without any fear.

I find it very useful as a “secretary” and to help me structure my thoughts. When I work on a document (usually technical) I first ask him to propose a document structure, explaining him what kind of document and on which subject. I then tell him how to improve his proposition.

Then I take each chapter and tell him to ask me questions to help me structure my reasoning. Then, I answer his questions and he writes the paragraph from my answers.

I find that it helps greatly, it allows me to write documents much faster and I also have the feeling it improves the quality. It allows me to sometimes think about things that I wouldn’t have on my own.

The same people will use Gmail without batting an eye and we all know what Google has been doing for years with emails in Gmail.

It’s quite funny that now that there are “AI” that everyone can use, people get all worried about their data being used to train them but nobody cared before when it was Google or amazon using them to train their models.

You raise a very good point, people cannot be mad that companies use data that they made public to train their ai. It’s public, people can do whatever they want with it. We really need to teach people to be more careful with what they post online.

It’s written quite clearly on the door, but last time I used one I saved a tourist who would have had an unfortunate shower. She grabbed the door when I went out and was going in, I had to warn her and tell her to first let the door close so that the wash cycle would do its job.

In France they have public toilets that basically do number 4. The toilet gets completely cleaned automatically with hot water and detergent after you used it. It works by locking up after you unlocked the door after using it. If you hold the door for someone, they get the cleaning treatment.

It’s a problem because our entire economic system is based on growth and it will be complicated to have economic growth with a decrease in population. Now the fact that our system is based on continuous growth is probably a problem bigger than the decline in population.

You just made me realise that the only movies where Ben Stiller is acting which I really enjoyed were ones which he also directed. He’s a solid director, Walter Mitty, Cable Guy, Tropic Thunder, and to a lesser extend Zoolander have quite good cinematography. He seems to also lessen the excessiveness in his acting which I don’t like.
