I’m still in on Poles. I like his overall philosophy and think he’s drafted well thus far. People can hold the Eberflus hire against him and I certainly can’t defend that. Even with the bad HC hire, most GM’s get at least 2 HC hires.

This is the most ideal situation. I’d much rather him play tough competition the rest of the way to leave zero doubt one way or another vs him playing lollipop defenses.

The Bears may be drafting a new QB regardless, but if Fields balls out that will make his trade value rise.
