This. It tells you what the current recommended sites are.

A HTPC requires a tech savvy person with a lot of free time. A Google TV box is better for most as they are as easy to use as the TVs own OS but don’t have the crapware.

Buy an Onn / Thomson box, set it to apps only mode, and there you are. They’re Google TV so Netflix is just as easy to use on it as on the TV itself, and as Google TV is Android based you can sideload whatever apps you want, copyright law compliant be damned.

I am okay with illegal immigrants being turned away as we have no idea about their criminal history and ignoring them allows drug dealers and gangs to sneak through.
But this is too far. Taking away the citizenship of those who have worked to legally become American for no reason but to hit a quota is not okay.
Facebook federates with Mastodon through Threads so they may be scraping Lemmy.
120,000 x 4 = 480,000
This is easy to do with a calculator.
A bot could put 100 AI generated tracks on Spotify per hour. 50 bots doing the same is 120,000 tracks per day.
AI slop can be made and distributed in ginourmous numbers. I wouldn’t be suprised if at least 3/4 of uploads from the past 2 years are AI.

We have been voting for greedy shits larping as conservative (Conservatives) and greedy shits larping as liberal (Labour).

I understand why, but you didn’t have to. Many smart TVs let you set them up without Wi-Fi and just use the HDMI ports.
Samsung, LG, and Google TV models do, but Roku and Fire TV do not.

It doesn’t matter if you get one. They are the cheapest and best image quality TVs available, and many like Samsung’s let you set them up without connecting to Wi-Fi.

The Android UX can be changed in a fork. Samsung’s One UI is a good example.
I haven’t found any issues with it. The problem with making their own is that the MS Office file formats are purposefully poorly documented with the spec being over 6000 pages long and MS Office itself not adhering to it. It would be best to start with something where most of the work is done for them.
Is Onlyoffice enough for you?
Onlyoffice uses a different engine. It has much better MS office file support but worse ODF support.
They should have forked Onlyoffice, however I appreciate the effort to make their own from scratch.
Why don’t they fork Onlyoffice for this?
Nothing. lemmy.world seems to be good at filtering spam instances out without hiding too much human content.
