Dumb question - can someone explain the “average finish in points per drive” stat that OP posted? In what way is it an advantage for Brady?
One of my hottest takes is that Super Bowl 53 is my favorite SB. If you’re a fan of football strategy nothing beats the chess match between McVay and Belichick (and conversely Wade Phillips v. Josh McDaniels).
Bears fans might hate me for this but the improvement of the defense is probably the main reason why I think giving Eberflus another year wouldn’t be a bad idea. To boot, if you fire him in the offseason you risk having to implement a different scheme that requires different personnel.
At the very least he is a positive asset on one side of the ball. The wins have not come under Flus but there’s a glimmer of hope there imo. I think Flus is a similar coach to Todd Bowles in Tampa. Both are excellent defensive minds but need to improve at certain head coaching responsibilities like clock management, situational awareness, ect.
