Their original appearance was a strictly scripted setpiece (or a lie if you will). Officially they are intended to exist in the Leir system but we don’t know when and in what form it’s going to happen.

Two main reasons I can think of:

• focus on polishing each version (less hardware variety on consols to deal with)
• easy way to get people to double dip

Most likely both.

While I didn’t take this video as glorifying serfdom (I realize it was a trash system and focused more on the rhythm part) I can totally see how it could be received as that so thanks for additional context! It’s always good to have more voices on a topic.
