What new amazing things do you need to do on a phone though?
I buy phones for the new headroom in processing, not these new features that no one uses.
Of course this is a marketing issue. Most people use their phones similarly to how they did 5 years but the marketing needs to make it seem like there is something new or amazing that the phone does and there really isn’t
But all the underlying processing takes up more and more power so even though the batteries get bigger they never really last longer. So we are constantly stuck in a cycle of 24 hour batteries and new useless features.
