The price is wrong, bitch.
A purposefully mixed economy.
I did 4 years of nights. The real trick is being able to sleep during the day. So whatever ear plugs, face mask, blackout curtains you need, make sure they work for you. I generally would work up to it staying up until 2 AM, then 5 AM, then going to work. I believe that most people found that they had more time with their family because instead of being at work 8-12 hours during the day, they were only sleeping 6-7, and were home when their kids were getting up, going to school, coming home, etc.
Oh my gosh, this is freaking hilarious.

I truly believe that multiple medical specialties will be taken over by AI.
My experiences have been where I’ve been eating outside at a restaurant, and someone asks me for money. I tell them to order anything off the menu, and I’ll pay. Every single one has turned me down. This has been at least 3 times in Orlando. I have also spent some time in the poorer parts of town, and I work in a hospital where many come. Even having gotten to know some homeless people and respecting them does not make me more inclined to give money to strangers.
I think spez forgot that Redditors will burn it down just for the show.
Meta is doing great if all you care about is liking pictures of your nieces and nephews. That’s not totally fair, they do allow niche communities to post information and share photos. But there’s no where near the thought provoking discussion that Reddit or Lemmy provide.
Can you explain how I would subscribe to them on kbin?
