Yeah. Heroic Games Launder works really well under CachyOS. I’ve been using it for over one year and after trying Lutris, NonSteamLaunchers, etc, Heroic it’s still my favorite way of integrating Epic / GOG / Amazon games with Steam.

Actually there’s dozens of really good free / open source apps that can do that. Let’s face it, forgetting to flatten the edited version is not a technical problem. It’s a laziness one.

Oh, and for an easier transition from Windows, on my personal point of view, Mint is great but I would go with KDE Neon instead of Ubuntu.

For gaming OS I really have to point CachyOS, their “somewhere in the middle between pure Arch and SteamOS” approach makes it a really good gaming option. I’ve been trying it for over an year with zero regrets.

If you want to go Arch Linux at, you might want to try CachyOS. It’s been my gaming PC OS for around one year and I’m really happy with the result.
