I upgraded from a series 5 to UW2 and I really like it. Battery life and durability make it worthwhile. The ability to sleep with it and not have to constantly worry about charging is very nice. Even if it needs a charge the fast charger works well. I’m also a runner and being able to run, listen to the radio, sleep all night, and still have plenty of battery in the morning is a huge win. There is no doubt the watch is big. However, I’m 5-10/ 165# with a medium wrist and I was concerned about the size, but it has really been no issue at all. The size would likely become annoying if I were any smaller and I definitely couldn’t see my wife wearing it. I’m also an older guy and the bigger screen is much easier to see and use when exercising. The watch is expensive, but practically bomb proof. I passed on Apple Care since any event is still going to effectively cost another $179. I’m not out doing crazy things and it won’t bankrupt me if something does happen. If it doesn’t break the bank and you have any need for a sports watch, I doubt that you will be disappointed with either the ultra 1 or 2.
