    It will make its comeback sooner or later. There is just no better tech for distributing large files in a decentralized way. Im sure lots of commercial companies are using bittorrent or something compareable under the hood to distribute their files across their servers.

      Resilio sync is based on the same protocol iirc. Most definitely it’s being used by numerous companies. Microsoft implemented something similar years ago for update distribution to lessen the load on their servers and speed up downloads.
