Hi recently I’m seeing news about android auto all over the place like:
- Grapheneos recently integrated android auto.
- Microsoft Teams is being developed for Android auto.
- Google updating android auto with chrome support.
What has happened in android auto now that there are some companies focusing on it?

Wait GrapheneOS supports Android Auto now? That’s a game changer if true as it’s the only thing holding me back.
Yes, you can see it in the “Apps” app
Honestly really surprised, I thought it was too integrated in Android to work with GrapheneOS. I think that might finally convince me to replace my dying pixel with a new one.
It’s because these apps that work in Android Auto also work in Android Automotive, which is Google’s in-car OS that uses similar app design.
