Solasta: Crown of the Magister has incredible Steam Deck support btw and is currently on a 60% sale. I bought it as I have some flights coming up and wanted to get more familiar with D&D5e before BG3 comes out.

Obviously buying it right now is a bit like “we have Baldur’s Gate 3 at home…” but I was pleasantly surprised by how great the Steam Deck support is. It’s like they must’ve tested it on the Steam Deck specifically.

There’s a few minor issues with small text, but aside from that it’s great.

It’s awesome to see games get official controller support for the Steam Deck. Hopefully Baldur’s Gate 3 will have as great support as well.

If I were you, I’d look into setting one of the back buttons to trigger the screen magnifier. Not a perfect solution, but it might help enough if you want to play on the go.

Appreciate the suggestion, I usually set one of the trackpads as the magnifier and mouse. It’s not ideal though, the zoom in is pretty extreme, so you lose parts of the screen.
