Welp, it’s been nice here so far, but there’s no mobile app for kbin and it’s erroring out more often than not. That’s why I’ll be switching to lemmy (for now). Bye!
(P.S.: If, or when, Ernest makes kbin more stable and an API is available, I’ll consider switching back. But until then, I’m ultra980 on lemmy.world, if anyone cares.)
I’ve been reading kbin.social posts the whole time I’ve been on Lemmy. Is it not just a regular Lemmy instance?
It’s kinda Lemmy + Mastodon. It has magazines, which are like Lemmy communities, threads, which are like Lemmy posts, upvotes and downvotes. But you can also post outside of a magazine (well it’s called m/random), it has posts, like Mastodon posts and boosts, also like Mastodon boosts.
@Nath It’s similar, but it’s not a lemmy instance. It’s its own thing.
