Hello commrades,
I am looking for a source on the economic growth of the Soviet Union. I once read that had the Soviet Union survived it would have overtaken the USA sometimes around 2006 (maybe it was 2016 not sure). However I can’t remember where I read that.
Has anyone here an idea of what I am talking about?

it was likely this pic that justified that conception. if you look at it, even former soviet republics are at 17k GDP in 2014, USA is at ~17k in 2014 as well. without that big dip from the collapse its likely itd be more.
of course gdp is not the full picture
