I bought a brand new iPhone 14 Pro Max. Finally upgraded from a 10 XS Max. I want to take care of it which includes the battery. Does it put more strain on the battery using a higher watt charger say 20 watt compared to say 5 watt?

Yes, faster charging helps age the battery faster. I recommend charging once per day while you’re sleeping, using a 5 watt charging brick. Don’t charge at a higher wattage unless you have an urgency, and don’t “top off” multiple times per day. A reasonable amount of “exercise” is better for the battery.
