Not sure how the idea that Israel is pro-lgbt even spread because they haven’t legalized gay marriage and only recognize same-sex couples that had their marriages done abroad. They don’t even recognize Civil Unions in their country.
It’s just a reaction to the image of the group they are fighting. When Hamas is perceived as ISIS, Israel is automatically more friendly by comparison in people’s minds.
