Like in Canada in the winter when it’s cold, you basically just hustle from one heated building to the next.

    That or pools. But if you don’t mind sweating a bit outside, the shade is often not too bad (ok, lately it has been that bad). We have those fans that spray water mist. But essentially, yes, we go from either sweat to sweat or a/c to a/c

    Alternative hypothesis: folks get into their conveniently parked SUV in their garage and don’t leave the car until they’re in a different garage. Only applies to suburbs.

      I drive an suv because i haul big things for work. I park in my driveway and my work, local grocery store, and post office dom’t have parking garages.

    Running works waaaay better in the cold…in the heat it just makes things worse.

    But other than that, that’s exactly what we do.

    Yeah, in Arizona we do exactly this. Way back at ASU I once had a cross campus route that took me through all the longest air conditioned hallways. It was 3 minutes longer than going outside, but it was pretty obvious I wasn’t the only one using that route
