For those asking for progress I am showing something. I understand we are all tired of this conversation but I want to hear the counter arguments.

Progress but not perfect. I think there is plenty of room to grow and he does have a fumble problem. I also think the scheme would destroy most QBs in the league.

Do I know if he is the guy? No I don’t know. But I am seeing growth.

I’m a big Fields fan and would love nothing more than him to run the table down the stretch and change everyone’s mind.

That being said, if the bears end up with #1 or #2 overall, which is looking extremely likely, I don’t know how you pass on resetting the QB clock again. It makes too much sense for Poles to take his shot and buy his time. If we didn’t have the panthers pick and ended up at say, #8, I don’t think we’d be drafting a qb. We have another year + 5th year option if you wanted so it’s not the final decision time.

For me, if we keep this staff (which I hope we don’t) then you keep Fields. I don’t want them to let a lame duck staff draft a QB again.

If we get a new coach (please get Harbaugh) then you let him decide what to do. Luckily the season finishes, then you figure out the coach, and then you draft.

I don’t like the truther/“realists” arguing about echo chambers with each other at this time. There’s no need to make a decision right now other than for ego so let’s watch it play out.

    Just my $.02
