Week 1: SF - L
Week 2: CLE - W
Week 3: @ LV - W
Week 4 @ HOU - L
Week 5: BAL - W
Week 7: @ LAR - W
Week 8: JAX - L
Week 9: TEN - W
Week 10: GB - W
Week 11: @ CLE - L
Week 12: @ CIN - W

So if we go by the pattern….

Week 13: ARZ - W
Week 14: @ NE - L
Week 15: @ IND - W
Week 16: CIN - W
Week 17: @ SEA - L
Week 18: @ BAL - W

PLAYOFFS (if they make it)
Wild Card: W
Divisional Round: L

It seems that the fate of the Steelers season rests in the hands of the all-mighty pattern. We dare not to question its choices. I know that this is a really dumb post and is just a result of pure coincidence, but I’ll believe anything that says we won’t get blown out in the wild card round… again

Raven have a hard schedule- healthy Rams, jags, 49ers, Miami and then the Steelers. Lots of travel against good teams there. If they go 3-2 then Steelers are at the top

If we actually win a play-off game this year I’m going to take a photo of me in my Steelers bikini and I’ll upload it to the Steelers sub.

Fuck that. I’ll get my husband to wear it, and I’ll upload it.

Promise. Someone please do that weird “remind me” thingy that I always manage to mess up.

For the record. The Cowboys had a pattern for the entirety of last season that would’ve had them winning the SB. It was lose 1, win 4, lose 1, win 2, and repeat.

I’d hate it, but it would be very on brand for the Steelers to look great again next week only to lose to a shitty team like NE just when we thought we had turned things around

The remaining schedule is not very tough. They can win 4-5 games out of 6 as the offense shows some improvement and defense is still reliable.

I remember the 2012 49ers followed a similar W-W-L pattern almost perfectly. They went W-W-L for the first 15 games of the season (except one L was a tie) then closed out with a W for the final game.

Then in the playoffs they also went W-W-L.

Even if this is what happens if you told most Steelers fans we win a playoff game this year but we have to lose to the Patriots we’d all say yes. Like it’d be great to finally beat the Pats because they’ve haunted us for years. But also fuck man making the playoffs is fun. Winning a playoff game is even better

The Texans in 2019 had the same pattern as this year’s Steelers, one loss, then two wins in a row. The pattern continued throughout the entire regular season. It looked like the streak would continue in the playoffs as they were leading the Chiefs in the divisional round but they infamously blew a big lead.

If it’s any consolation that Week 18 W would be against your 4th string and we’re still only going to win by a field goal. Like literally 1 field goal. It will be 3-0.

I have made way too much fun of my Bills fan brother for their loss to NE I can’t beat to see how he will return the favor if we also lose.
