Looking through it, this is the first time in a long time where there aren’t many names that immediately jump out above the rest. Peppers and Gates definitely belong in as First Ballot, but otherwise, I’m not sure there are any locks. I’m sure at least one of those WRs finally breaks through with Steve Smith being the best of the group.
It’s very unlikely that Smith gets in before Holt or Wayne. He’s yet to crack into the finalist tier, both Holt and Wayne won championships, and they’ve both been waiting longer too.
