i’m gonna go see the orthopedist and hopefully get my splint off
i hairline fractured my upper radius falling off my bike last week, but the break both 1. was too small for them to find without a detailed analysis by a specialist the following day and 2. has been hurting less than the associated road rash itching under the splint, as well as said splint pressing against my wrist bone when i try to type, so fingerse crossed that they don’t need to put me in a cast. i’m definitely open to taking some time away from gravel biking but i have a show coming up on july 24th and would really like to be able to play keys at it.
that being said, because it’s a splint and not a cast, i’ve been having some fun telling people i got bitten by a radioactive mummy and am rapidly turning into marvel’s shittest superhero, so i wouldn’t mind milking that a bit more. but i’d generally be more stoked about just regaining the full use of my arm.

Always a silver lining 😄
