Sorry for asking but I am thinking about buying the 61wh battery for my upcoming FW 13 Ryzen.
The only problem: i don’t like the idea of having a brand new battery lying around for nothing. Seems a little bit of „waste“.
Furthermore, it does not say in the product page but I CAN put the bigger battery into the smaller ryzen?

There’s definitely a want for this from the community:
Shame there is no possibility to upgrade to the bigger battery on the smaller Ryzen, but Framework has already explained why and it’s a good reason.
Reasons why I don’t think there will be a case for extra battery cases useable as external batteries: Before buying an extra battery for that reason, just get a ginormous usb-c power bank for 1/5 the cost. The user base of a battery case will probably be in the hundreds, not more… and it’s not just the case, theere needs to be a pcb with appropriate charging electronics, too.
