Cyber Monday is on! Should I get a MacBook Air with the M2 or M1 chip? Currently I’m using Pages to write stories which will later be published to Books. While I completely understand that I can get a keyboard for my iPad I’m not a fan of that idea. The only thing I tend to use my iPad for is watching Apple TV shows, something that my older sister says her M1 MacBook Air does just fine at. Also, I’d probably be trading in my iPad Pro for the MacBook Air.

At MSRP. Base M1 is on sale for $750 which is $300 below the M2 $1050 sales. Of course upgraded RAM configs aren’t on sale so that changes it.
