This is who Marcus peters has always been. Even with the rams, he was just a ball hawk. We got rid of him because he sucks ass in coverage. He plays super far off and still will fall for any double move giving up massive yardage. He also sucks at tackling. And generally has a really bad attitude. His only saving grace is he gets turnovers. If he’s not getting turnovers, he’s one of the worst CBs in the league, especially on a losing team that can’t contain his attitude issues
He was CB2 handedly on the Ravens but we did try to stack a strong safety room behind (Earl Thomas, what could’ve been).
He wasn’t great at tackling but he did try to make the effort on the Ravens especially as we were winning.
Peters though seems too volatile when a team is losing, just doesn’t pan out well. Glad some fans who wanted Harbs gone and Peters to return didn’t get their way.
Any time he played for the Ravens he was CB2, never less than that.
That aside though, you’re right. He will always be a gambler and that was a net positive in Baltimore. On an average defense though, it’s just not a good fit.

He was the Ravens starting LCB, so this isn’t true.
