I’m in a marketing psychology class. They don’t put that commercial out to entice the general public, they do it to increase brand prestige to the people who already actively go to Porsche dealers and can afford those cars. It’s all comparative marketing and brand efficacy. There’s a science behind everything. That’s how they justify price increases and elevated pricing, through building brand prestige.
