Is there anyone here that wears two Apple Watches…or more? Before you envision a guy with seven watches on one arm, I’m asking about swapping between the two. I have an S4 that I just replaced with an S7 (I beat em up, so I buy em used). My watch gets more beat up on my night job than it does during the day, so I’m thinking about throwing on the S4 for my night job, and wearing the S7 the rest of the time.

Does anyone do anything like this? At one point, I thought about buying SS and having that as a “formal” AW. Similar dual-user concept. Does anyone do this?

I was thinking of doing that, S3 for sleeping/rough stuff, S8 SS for non-rugged daily use. Then I got the Ultra and with the extra battery I just use it all the time, swapping bands. (Ti link for work and “formal”, Alpine for casual, stretchy loop for sleep)

I didn’t exactly plan it this way but I have an SE 2 without cellular and a 9 with cellular. I wear the SE at night for sleep tracking (although I don’t particularly need to track my sleep) and when the 9 is charging. I do like having a backup because I really rely on the watch a lot; much more than I thought I would. The SE 2 I bought used from eBay for a very reasonable price and it’s in great condition, so if you do want 2 watches something like that is a great option for a second watch. Note that you can only use one at a time.

I have 3 AW’s. Midnight 44mm SE (with activated cellular) that I wear 75% of the time because I like how lightweight it is and I like having the bigger screen. Its basically my “utility” watch. But I also have a Gold SS 40mm S5 and a Graphite SS 41mm S7 (cellular not activated on either) that I wear for formal occasions and/or when SE is charging. I bought both of these SS watches refurbished. No downsides.

Sure, I’ve been doing it for years. Currently have an Ultra and a S9 45mm.

This has been EXACTLY what I am thinking about doing. The primary reason that I would want an Ultra would be battery life. I think I would be better off with two SE because I really just want to have a watch on at all times. Flipping back and forth is much less of a problem than forgetting a watch for a day.

I was rotating an s4 and an s7 until last year when I gave my s4 to my son and upgraded to an aluminum s8 for sleeping and evening workouts. It has worked well for me.

Yes I have 4, I use my Ultra as my daily and have a series0 SS series 4 SS and a Series 4 Alu

Set them up to auto detect in the watch app and it works really well

I was going to do this with my gen 1 SE (ie use it for sleeping) but my new S9 charges so much quicker (and I think having a short break from it is important) that it seems unnecessary so I’ve decided to trade in the SE. Didn’t seem worth it for AU$100 initially, but now I might as well do it instead of it sitting around doing nothing.

Not at once obviously, but I do have an old Series 6 that I use for working out since I’m afraid of bumping my Ultra against a machine or dumbbell and shattering it. FWIW it works great to have two watches, everything syncs.
