Most people seem to be giving their ranks on MVP voting citing only QBs. It’s hard to imagine that just a title over 10 years ago Brees’ 46 TDs wasn’t enough to win MVP.

I’m curious as to who the real MVP candidates are. QB production is down so I’m really gearing towards awarding it to a defensive player like Myles Garrett. I know some people have also cited CMC and Hill.

At least for defense: DaRon Bland…guys got 6 INTs, 4 returned for TDs, through 10 games. Unreal.

But I mean - look who they played against. You’d have a shot at those numbers.

One more pick 6 in the next 6 games and it’ll be an uncontested record with no asterisk for season length. If you throw towards him, you’re 4x more likely to score points against your own team on that play than for your team.

I still have a hard time making an MVP case, but I do think people should be mentioning him more in general. Dude deserves a ton of credit. Not very many shutdown corners also have hands. Usually the big flashy playmakers are a little soft in coverage.
