There is nothing more pathetic than sticking to a losing strategy, i.e. attacking and/or failing to defend trans kids as a main political platform, just because it is hateful.
The people of the USA want good healthcare, decent jobs, they want infrastructure repaired and careful wise investments in the future made. This is noise to the average american no matter how hard hateful Republican and Democrat politicians try to wish it not be true.
That’s what they want, but they don’t want to bother understanding the politics behind making it happen, so they vote for whoever tells them what they want to hear, which inevitably isn’t the truth.
