I like Remember the Milk combined with Evernote for productivity. I also find myself using the Apple reminders app for things like medicine reminders and stuff that’s not a business task. More personal stuff—like ordering my Mom flowers for her birthday, etc.

Use the health app for medicine reminders. It also has trackers built in that you won’t find inside the reminders app.

I had some fun listening to radio stations all over the world with Radio Garden

Identifying birds with the Merlin Bird ID app

Bitwarden, if you need an open source, free password manager

Consent-o-matic. Safari extension. remember those stupid “agree to cookies?” This extension will automatically take care of those pop-ups.

Photomator photo editor. Probably the best Apple-eco photo editing app on iPhone or iPad. They are a subscription based now, unfortunately. But god the app is excellent.

Backmarket. Not just an app but a platform to buy certified refurbished electronics. They’re just so good, reasonably priced items, good warranty guarantee and eco-friendly.

YNAB - Budgeting app. I’ve been using it for almost 6 years now. It’s amazing.

Things3 - This app helps me stay organized between work, school, and errands. Very intuitive to use.

These are my daily apps. I’m not sure if these fit under the “lesser known” category, but more people should definitely use them more.
