I realize this is an odd question, but I was having difficulty finding this info elsewhere. If it’s been previously talked about, then my apologies. I promise I did search the subreddit first! I just didn’t quite find what I was after.

I have a friend who’s working on a costume involving a square watch. The thought was to find a used/older Apple watch and set the background to mimic the look they’re after, since (I think) it’s one of the few (or only) square watches on the market right now that will allow for background image changes?

Do Apple watches have enough functionality with Android phones to at least allow for background image changes? My friend is using a Google Pixel 7, if it helps.
