Looking for the best watch to get for my grandma with black Friday coming up. She’s getting up there in age so I want to get her something with some sort of fall detection and maybe other age/health benefits. What watch should I get her? Obviously she doesn’t need the newest model, but I’d like to get her one that has the features mentioned above. Thanks!

My 89 year old grandma actually fell last week and broke her leg. It happened around 7pm and she wasn’t found until my uncle came in the morning for work (his business is run from her house). She was unable to reach the cordless phone on the coffee table. She has been too stubborn to learn how to use the iPad docked for her next to the couch so she can FaceTime myself and my dad for free (we live overseas from her). I would highly recommend a smart assistant device like Alexa so your grandparent can very simply call out for help. I think all of the smart speakers on the market can have emergency contacts and I think Echo has subscription for emergency calling 911 in the US. My dad is heading over to see Grandma next week and I told him we need to make sure she has a way to call out for help with the least resistance.
