I started viewing evil in a very utilitarian, consequential fashion a long time ago. Your motive doesn’t matter at the end of the day, what matters is the ratio of harm to good your actions do.
It’s literally the bell curve meme, if you understand things well enough you can actually work through the mild complexity instead of just being able to see it and giving up.
Even when they try and help people it usually just incentivizes exploitation in a round about way 😂 evil with more steps
