The latest results released in May show that fewer people agreed that individuals should be free to express their gender however they choose in 2025 compared with 2018. “Among women, the proportion who agreed decreased from 85 percent in 2018 to 77 percent in 2025. Among men, the decrease was from 78 percent to 70 percent,” the report noted.

But what particularly strikes me is how little variation there is among groups. All the groups they identify are only a few percentage points away from each other, which tells me they’re not asking the right questions. Religion? Politics? Also no analysis of the data to see where this 7-8% drop is coming from.
