I like to see how phones resist the passage of time to understand how Apple updates and selects the phones that will not receive a new iOS update, so you guys think an iPhone 13 is future proof like an iPhone 14 or they will be discontinued at the same time?

Knowing the X model is no longer updating to new iOS versions, in 2024 we should see the XR, XS and maybe, MAYBE, the 11 losing support to newer updates.

iPhone 13 probably end support earlier than 14, I don’t think they want to stop support all A15 iPhones at the same time. However, since iPhone 13 is the last iPhone with 4G RAM, it may not perform well compare to 14 in the future.

I am using an iPhone 6 as my secondary phone and it works absolutely fine for social media, phone calls and messages. Nothing laggs everything is smooth.

imo the iPhone 13 Pro is the best iPhone currently available.

I can very easily upgrade to the 15 Pro - but I litterally don’t want to.

The iPhone 13 Pro looks better imo, have a stronger back glass, better battery life, actually better camera for the most part (check all the 13 vs 14 vs 15 camera reviews - it’s crazy how similar / identical the photos are, and when there is a small difference - I actually prefered the 13’s photos… also minimum focus distance is better on the 13), I prefer the notch over the “dynamic island” (which is just a silly name for “even worse screen cut-out than a notch”)…

So… yeah. The 13 Pro is awesome and I am not going to upgrade it for at least another year.
